Jordan Heritage Foundation and Wings of Hope Society welcomed a distinguished group of students, the athletes receiving basketball training at Al-Hassan Al-Basri School, supported by Wings of Hope Society, for a visit to the Jordan Heritage Gallery. The gallery is the result of years of research and hard work conducted by Jordan Heritage team. The gallery consists of a number of artworks that tell the history and heritage of Jordan in eight themes.
A total of 38 students toured the exhibition in groups, using iPads to interact with the artworks, making their experience both educational and enjoyable. This concluded with a quiz among the groups about the exhibition’s content.
The exhibition takes visitors on a beautiful historical journey that highlights Jordan’s history, heritage, achievements, music, art, the role of women, as well as Jordan’s embracement to civilizations and all spectrums. Visitors gain an understanding of the achievements of our beloved Jordan and heroic men and women who contributed to building this nation and defended it with valor.
Thank you to the basketball students from the Manara area, to the accompanying supervisors, to the training director Captain Marwan Matouq, and a special thanks to the founder and director of Jordan Heritage Mr Firas Khleifat and his entire team.
