In 2012, Wings of Hope renovated an old basketball court located in one of east Amman’s most heavily populated regions, Al Manara. The WOH court is built at a boy’s high school and serves various schools in the area. Both boys and girls utilize this roof-covered court to exercise, play sports, and practice their skills, especially because the area lacks many clubs or parks for youth to use.

In 2016 and 2017, WOH renovated its basketball court again and updated various elements, including the court’s paint and insulation. It brought in a team of professional basketball players, Hoops 4 Hope, to provide training activities for a number of boys and girls. Some of the activities include helping youth with their educational progress, health habits, athletic skills, and overall wellbeing.
