Wings of Hope (WOH) believes in the importance of sports from an early age and the powerful influence of athletics on the mind, body, and soul. It also believes that sports refine one’s character, teaches teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship, ethical behavior and equality.

With these strong beliefs at the forefront of its mission, Wings of Hope has built and restored various basketball courts around Jordan, particularly in remote or heavily populated areas where youth require a safe and enjoyable space to play sports, practice their athletic skills and hold tournaments. Thus far, six basketball courts have been constructed or rehabilitated in areas including, Amman, Muaggar, Ajloun, Petra, Gregra, and Salt.

The basketball courts host sports activities, workshops and camps, and they serve schools, youth clubs and community centers.
