Jordanian youth who live around the Azraq Wetland Protected Area and Fifa Protected Area in the Southern Jordan Valley benefit from a training program for “environment rangers.”; Tthe program is implemented by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN) throughout the kingdom in which .150 students receive training about the environment in a classroom and on the field. Twenty boys and girls from each location are awarded the “Nature Knights” title and become part of the protection for the protected area in their community. Wings of Hope funds the program.
